The Live More Awards
Save the date, because this one is going to be special. Saturday, June 7th promises to be a night to remember. For a quarter century, the gala has been a marquee event in the Halifax social calendar, but this year it’s going to be bigger, more glamourous and more important than ever before.
Taking place at the prestigious Halifax Convention Centre in the heart of downtown, the 25th gala will honour four local leaders, Wadih Fares, Doug Doucet, Danny Chedrawe and Jim Spatz for their dedication and commitment to community,
As well, we are honouring six people who have made Northwood better, and that represent our six pillars with a Live More Distinction Award:
Advocacy: Lloyd Newman, posthumously
Innovation: Axtion Inc.
Research: Dr. Caityln MacArthur
Diversity: Mike Perrier on behalf of the Deaf Community
Community: Freeman’s Little New York
Loving Care: Maritime Conservatory of Music Therapy
The evening will feature red carpet treatment for 1500 guests and attendees, fabulous drinks and a gourmet dinner, a live auction and of course, live musical entertainment featuring brilliant local talents. Kick off the summer social season at the biggest and most glamourous event of the year: the 25th Annual LIVE MORE Awards gala.
